Within the first month of 2016 30 Ukrainian refugees applied for asylum in the Republic of Belarus.

In 2015 Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iemen were ranked the Top 5 countries of origin of asylum-seekers in Belarus in 2015.

According to the data provided by the Information Analytical Center of the Republic of Belarus: 96% of respondents among Belarusian citizens assessed relations between representatives of different nationalities in Belarus as peaceful. 86.5% of respondents believe that there is no discrimination on nationality graounds in Belarus.
