On June 10—12, 2013 the Workshop on National hand-over strategies and fundraising, organized by the UNHCR Regional Office in the framework of the international technical assistance project «Local Integration of Refugees in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine (phase I)», took place.
Representatives of the UNHCR Regional Office, as well as UNHCR Representations of Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova and representatives of governmental bodies were present at the event. Presentations on the Local Integration hand-over strategies in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine as well as on fundraising and funding opportunities of the European Commission were shown to the participants. In the framework of the event A. Selivanov, Executive Director of the INA «Evolutio», also made speech on the topic «Importance of the public information/public awareness in local Integration. Handover of PI/PA activities to the government», where the INA “Evolutio” and mass media role in the work with general public on refugees issues was reflected.
During the seminar project proposals as well as outlines of country-specific fundraising strategies were developed.
