The results of the contest of  scientific works of students, candidates for a master's degree, post-graduate students «Refugee Protection and Promotion of Tolerance in Multicultural Society» were clarified, which was held by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and International Non–governmental Association for Scientific Research, Information and Educational Programmes «Evolutio» in the framework of the joint EU — UNHCR project «Strengthening the Protection Capacity in the Republic of Belarus — phase II».

The winners of the contest of  scientific works of students, candidates for a master's degree, post-graduate students «Refugee Protection and Promotion of Tolerance in Multicultural Society»:

  • Anton Ignatovich (post-graduate student of the Faculty of History of Belarusian State University) — work “Muslim Community and the Host Society of Great Britain: an Analysis of Intercultural Communication”;
  • Stepan Stureyko (post-graduate student of the Faculty of History of Belarusian State University) — work “On the Transformation of Ethnic Identity among Forced Migrants from Afghanistan in Belarus”;
  • Eugeny Chervinsky (cadet of the Investigation and Expertise Department of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus) — work “Strengthening Tolerance in Multicultural Society in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Russian and Zhaymotskaga on the Example of the Jewish Diaspora”;
  • Tatiana Shibko (student of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University) — work “Refugee Protection and Promotion of Tolerance in Multicultural Society”;
  • Ekaterina Yadchenko (post-graduate student of the Department of the English Language and Verbal Communication of Belarusian State University) — work “Discourse-portraits of Refugees”.

Also the winners of the contest:

  • Yulianna Ivashkevich (student of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University) — work "Constitutional regulation of the ethno-linguistic and religious relations in the European countries as an essential condition for strengthening tolerance in a multicultural society"
  • Elizaveta Navoshchik (student of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University) — work "Refugee Protection and Promotion of Tolerance in Multicultural Society"
  • Vadim Tupikin (cadet of the Investigation and Expertise Department of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus) — work "Some Aspects of Refugee Integration in the Republic of Belarus"
  • Dariya Cheb (student of the Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University) — work “Refugee Protection and Promotion of Tolerance in Multicultural Society»
